Frequently Asked Questions
Are there any age restrictions?
Yes. You must be at least 18 years old, regardless of parental consent.
Are there any weight restrictions?
Yes. We can take up to 300lbs if you are in shape. Not all people can fit in the harness. Fees apply to jumpers above 200lbs.
Are there any height restrictions?
How long does it take to make my first skydive?
For a tandem skydive, up to 4 hours.
For an AFF skydive, plan to be with us the entire day.
Should I make reservations?
Yes you are required to make a reservation.
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably. Shorts and t-shirts in the summer, sweats in the winter, and tennis shoes (no boots with hooks).
Can we get one video for our whole group?
You would need to purchase separate videos for each skydiver. It is impossible for a freefall videographer to be in more than one place at the same time — tandems are as much as a quarter mile apart in freefall!
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes. We currently offer discounts for groups.
Please contact us for more information.
Can I go solo on my first jump?
Yes and No. On a tandem skydive you are paired with one instructor. On the first jump of the solo certification course (AFF) you are accompanied by two instructors in freefall, although wearing your own parachute.
Can you breathe and/or talk in freefall?
Breathing is easy in freefall, but talking is nearly impossible. Only in the movies!
How long does the actual skydive last?
The average human body falls approximately 120 miles per hour, so a skydive from 14,500 feet lasts about 60 seconds. The parachute ride following lasts about 5 minutes.
